Chang'an Golf Country Club was co-founded by the joint venture between HongKong Chang'an Golf Holding Ltd. and Chang'an Foreign Economic Development General Company. The court is located on the foot of LianHua Mountain in Scenery District of Chang'an and just by the side of Guang-Shen Highway. With its 27 holds, the court is of international competition class of United States' Golf Association (USGA). 

    Elaborately Designed by the famous Golf Design Group of JMP from the US, the court's construction was begun at the end of 1994.Then in 1997 the first Wing of the association's chamber was opened and at the year end of 1999, the second wing of social and leisure chamber was completely opened.

    The court was made up of three 9-holded sections, Northern, Eastern and Western Court. The first two are standard court of tournament with a total length of 6,923 yards and standard pole number of 72. The hold with a largest difficult modulus is the No.4 hold of the northern court and the No.3 hold of the eastern court and the No.8 hold of the northern court are the longest hold with a distance of five poles. 

    The club has all-rounded facilities for social and leisure purpose, including XiangDao Cafe, KaiYue Hote, XiongShan Japanese Food, QianXiLan Bar, Multi-functional Meeting Room, Monopoly Shop, Swimming Pool, Exercise Court, Tennis Court, Mini-Cinema, Video-Game Room, Children's Play station, Semi-tropical Aromatherapy and Spa Center, Lobby for club members in the XiaoFeng Building and John Jacobs Golf Schools of US etc. 

    From the opening day till now, the club has been rewarded for many times, for example, "The Most Economical Golf Court" by the magazine of "China Golf" in 1997, "My Most Favorite Golf Court" in 2001, "China's Best Service Golf Club" in 2002, "Top 10 Golf Court of China" by the US magazine of "Golf Digest" in 1999 and 2001, "One of the 18 Famous Holds of China" in 2001 for the No.4 hold of the northern court, "One among Top 20 Golf Court of Asia" by Davidoff Tour in 1999. In addition, Chang'an Golf Country Club and Scotland St. Andrew's Royal & Ancient Golf Club both formally signed an agreement to ally to each other in 2001. As one of the Top 200 High Quality Golf Club, the alignment was elected to be "The Finest Golf Clubs of the World".
